The DXT Mouse 2 is a compact ergonomic mouse which has been expertly designed by a team of leading UK physiotherapists and ergonomists. It is the only compact right and left handed ergonomic mouse designed to use the precision movements of the hand.

Separate the two key modules to shoulder-width and rotate them to reduce painful ulnar deviation. And use the integrated tenting mechanism to choose from one of three heights to reduce forearm pronation.

Ergonomic Features

• Concave keywells are scooped into a bowl shape to reduce hand and finger extension and relax muscles.
• Separating the keywells positions the arms at shoulder-width to keep wrists straight and perpendicular to the home row to reduce abduction and ulnar deviation.
• The keys are arranged in vertical columns (rather than staggered) to better reflect the natural motion of your fingers.
• The two keywells are “tented” to moderately raising the thumb side of the hand. Tenting puts you in a more neutral, “handshake” posture and reduces the stresses caused by forearm pronation. Choose from one of three heights depending on your preferences.
• The integrated palm supports reduce stressful bending of the wrists and provide a convenient place to rest your hands when you are not actively typing. Add the new premium pads for even more support (AC360PP Sold Separately) .
• The thumb clusters include frequently-used keys such as Enter, Space, Backspace, and Delete to redistribute the workload away from your relatively weaker and overused little fingers to stronger thumbs.
• The Advantage360 may look big, but it actually has a smaller footprint than most keyboards because we eliminated the numeric 10-key so you can place the mouse closer to your body, reducing painful “over-reach”.

Mechanical Key Switches- Brown Tactile or Pink Linear Quiet

• Gateron Brown stem low-force tactile key switches. “Tactility” is a slightly elevated force around the midpoint of the stroke of the key which lets you know the switch is about to be activated. A tactile response is preferred by many ergonomists, because it cues your fingers that activation is about to occur and can reduce the frequency of “bottoming out” the switch with a hard impact.
• Kailh Box Pink stem linear, quiet, low-force key switches. The Kailh “Quiet” Pink incorporates sound dampening components to make them quieter than conventional mechanical switches, making it an ideal choice in open work environments where ambient noise is a concern.

The new Advantage2 features our patented Contoured keyboardTM design and low-force mechanical keyswitches to address the major risk factors associated with keyboarding for maximum comfort. With the all-new SmartSetTM Programming Engine, Advantage2 features powerful programming tools designed to let you customize the keyboard to boost your productivity.

The Advantage2 features low-force Cherry MX Brown tactile mechanical keyswitches, the rubber function keys (found on the original Advantage) have been replaced with Cherry ML low-force, tactile mechanical keyswitches, and our signature home row keys are in the new Kinesis Blue.

Ergonomic Features

• Concave keywells are scooped into a bowl shape to reduce hand and finger extension and relax muscles.
• Separating the keywells positions the arms at shoulder-width to keep wrists straight and perpendicular to the home row to reduce abduction and ulnar deviation.

• The keys are arranged in vertical columns (rather than staggered) to better reflect the natural motion of your fingers.
• The two keywells are “tented” at an optimal 20 degree angle moderately raising the thumb side of the hand. Tenting puts you in a more neutral, “handshake” posture and reduces the stresses caused by forearm pronation.

• The integrated palm supports reduce stressful bending of the wrists and provide a convenient place to rest your hands when you are not actively typing. Self-adhesive, cushioned palm pads (included) can be attached for maximum comfort.
• The thumb clusters include frequently-used keys such as Enter, Space, Backspace, and Delete to redistribute the workload away from your relatively weaker and overused little fingers to stronger thumbs.

• The Advantage2 may look big, but it actually has a smaller footprint than most keyboards because we eliminated the numeric 10-key so you can place the mouse closer to your body, reducing painful “over-reach”.

Mechanical Key Switches

KB600, KB600QD, KB605 and KB620 models utilizes the Cherry MX Brown stem low-force tactile key switches. “Tactility” is a slightly elevated force around the midpoint of the stroke of the key which lets you know the switch is about to be activated. A tactile response is preferred by many ergonomists, because it cues your fingers that activation is about to occur and can reduce the frequency of “bottoming out” the switch with a hard impact.

The Advantage2 Quiet LF (KB600LFQ) utilizes the newest Cherry MX Quiet Red stem mechanical key switches which have a linear feel, low activation force, and sound-dampening components to make them quieter than conventional mechanical switches. The MX “Quiet” Red is an ideal choice in open work environments where ambient noise is a concern.

The award-winning Freestyle Pro keyboard offers the same advanced ergonomic features of the Freestyle2 but with the additional benefits of full on-board programmability and low-force Cherry MX Brown mechanical key switches. Instantly switch between Windows, Mac and Dvorak layouts or create your own. The FS Pro makes programming a breeze with onboard shortcuts and the no-install SmartSet App. And with a standard 20″ linking cable everyone can find their comfort zone.

Zero degree slope form factor
As with the Freestyle2 the FS Pro retains a zero degree slope from front to back. Most keyboards including ergonomic models have a 10 degree positive slope. These designs tend to bend your wrists. The FS Pro’s zero degree slope decreases the height, effectively creating negative slope and reducing wrist extension.

Adjustable linking cable accommodates a wide range of users
The two key modules are connected by a 20 inch linking cable that can be adjusted to suit your preferences and body type. The basic configuration allows up to 12 inches of separation. If you need additional separation, simply remove the cable compartment cover located on the back of the left key module and thread out more of the stored cable until you find your desired width.

Optional tenting accessories
For people that are experiencing forearm discomfort two tenting accessories are available to reduce forearm pronation. The VIP3 Pro (with palm supports) and V3 Pro (without palm supports) attach easily to the underside of the Pro keyboard providing 3 easily adjustable slope settings of 5, 10 and 15 degrees.
