Physical network interface EdgeRouter X SFP consists of 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as one slot for SFP-module. This allows the router to be integrated into any network structure, including fiber optic. It is important to note that this model supports Passive PoE 24V – it allows you to power up to 5 connected clients. At the same time, the router itself can be powered from 220V through the 24VDC connector using the included adapter.

EdgeRouter X SFP has efficient hardware for its class, including a dual-core processor with a clock speed of 880 mHz and 256 MB RAM. All this allowed to provide bandwidth up to 1 Gbit / s, which is enough for normal operation of the network even at times of peak load.
