Physically, the Wave-Pro is robust, housed in an aluminum alloy and UV stabilized plastic enclosure, and comes with a stainless steel mount, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental challenges. The device is designed to withstand wind loadings of 369 N at 200 km/h and has an IPX6 weatherproofing rating, suitable for various outdoor settings. The device is also equipped with a powerful quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 processor that offers exceptional data processing capabilities, allowing it to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on performance.

For added reliability, especially in adverse weather conditions, the device includes a 5 GHz backup radio with a throughput of up to 800 Mbps. This ensures continuous network service even when the primary 60 GHz channel experiences interference or other issues related to atmospheric conditions. Connectivity options include two 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports and one 10G SFP+ port, enhancing its integration into modern networks that require high-speed connections and flexibility in terms of network design. In addition, the Wave Professional also with multiple antennas that support beamforming technology. Beamforming is a technique that focuses Wi-Fi signals directly towards the client devices rather than broadcasting in all directions.
